The Micah Song Cycle is a group of songs that journey through the intense book of Micah. The minor prophet Micah gives a dramatic awakening to the people of Israel who have turned away from the Lord. The Assryians are about to lay waste to the Promised Land and the rulers of the House of Jacob. The stiff-necked people of God are broken down through deceit and bloodshed. But throughout the book there is a glimpse of hope for a savior who will soon come up from Bethlehem. In the midst of destruction and punishment God continually reminds his people that he set a remnant for himself casting all their sins into the sea.
